Injectors — removal (Discovery 1)

1. Remove the oil filler cap and soundproof cap.

2. Remove the high pressure pipe from the injector and fuel injection pump.

3. Disconnect the drain tube from the injector.

4. Seal the connection points.

5. Unscrew the injector bracket mounting nut.

6. Remove the nozzle.



7. Installation in reverse order. Tightening torques: bracket nuts 25 Nm, high pressure pipe nuts 28 Nm.
