Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the thermostat.
COOLING SYSTEM: MOD. K, engine KV6, REPAIR WORK, Thermostat.
3. Disconnect the connector from the coolant temperature sensor.
4. Remove the coolant temperature sensor and discard the sealing washer.
5. Remove the temperature sensor from the cylinder block.
6. Remove the steel and sealing washers from the sensor and discard the sealing washer.
Installation
1. Clean the mating surfaces of the temperature sensor and the cylinder block.

2. Install a new sealing washer onto the sensor, then a steel washer.
3. Screw in the temperature sensor and tighten it. Tightening torque 17 Nm.
4. Install the thermostat.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.
