Removal


NOTE: The front seat height adjustment motor is supplied as part of the front seat frame assembly.


1. Remove the front seat belt buckle. For more information, refer to Front Seat Belt Buckle (76.73.30)

2. Remove the front seat cushion assembly. For more information, refer to Front Seat Cushion. (78.10.12/99)

3. Remove the front seat back assembly.
  • Loosen and disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
  • Remove 4 Torx head bolts.

4. Remove the front seat electrical connector bracket. Remove 4 screws.

5. Remove the front seat tilt motor.
  • Release the 3 wiring harness clips.
  • Remove 4 Torx head bolts.
Remove 4 Torx head bolts.


6. Remove the front seat position sensor. Unscrew the 2 nuts.



6. Remove the front seat position sensor. Unscrew the 2 nuts.


7. Remove the front seat height adjustment motor.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector.
  • Unscrew 8 nuts.
Unscrew 8 nuts.


Installation


1. Install the front seat height adjustment motor.
  • Tighten the nuts (tightening torque 25 Nm).
  • Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the front seat position sensor. Tighten the nuts. (tightening torque 4 Nm).

3. Install the front seat tilt motor.
  • Tighten the Torx head bolts (with a torque of 10 Nm).
  • Connect the wiring harness.
4. Install the front seat electrical connector bracket. Tighten the screws.

5. Install the front seat back assembly.
  • Tighten the Torx head bolts (tightening torque 25 Nm).
  • Connect and secure the electrical connectors.
6. Install the front seat cushion assembly. For more information, refer to Front Seat Cushion (78.10.12/99)

7. Install the front seat belt buckle. For more information, refer to Front Seat Belt Buckle (76.73.30)
