Removing
1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification
2. Remove the front grille. For more information refer to Radiator Grille (76.55.03)
3. Remove the coolant expansion tank.
4. Drain the fluid from the power steering reservoir.

CAUTION: Make sure the area around the contact surfaces is clean and dry before you start to disconnect or remove parts. Plug all open connections to avoid contamination of the system.
NOTE: Some fluid will inevitably spill during this operation.
Disconnect the heat exchanger hose using the special tool. Lay down an absorbent cloth to soak up spilled liquid.
6. Disconnect the power steering reservoir return hose.
- Lay down an absorbent cloth to soak up spilled liquid.
- Release the clamp.
7. Release the bottom clamp of the left radiator air deflector, move the deflector to the side.
8. Move the left horn aside for better access. Loosen the nut.
9. Remove the refrigerant pipe splitter.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the cooler elements when removing and installing.
Remove the power steering fluid cooler. Release 3 clamps.
Installation
1. Install the power steering cooler. Install and secure with clips.
2. Install the refrigerant pipe splitter.
3. Install the horn assembly. tighten the nut (tightening torque 10 Nm).
4. Install the radiator deflector. Fasten with a clip.
5. Install the power steering fluid line and hose.
- Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
- Secure the hose with a clamp.
6. Install the coolant expansion tank.
7. Install the grille. For more information refer to Radiator Grille (76.55.03)
8. Connect the ground wire to the battery. For more information refer to Specification.
9. Fill the power steering system with fluid and bleed air from the system. For more information, refer to Filling and Bleeding the Power Steering System.
