General information
The steering system includes a TRW rack and pinion steering gear, power steering pump, reservoir, fluid cooler and fluid hoses. As a steering mechanism, a rack and pinion with a conventional end mount of rods and a gear amplifier is used.
The steering rack has a stroke of 166 mm. It takes 3.32 turns of the steering wheel to move between the extreme positions. One turn of the steering wheel corresponds to a stroke of 50 mm.
