Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the right front fender splash guard. Remove the 4 clips.

3. Remove the left front fender splash guard. For more information, refer to Fender Splash Guard (76.10.48)
4. Remove the radiator panel. Unscrew 4 bolts.

CAUTION: To avoid contamination of the system, always plug all open connections.
Disconnect the high pressure line from the power steering pump.
- Loosen and remove the power steering pump line.
- Allow the liquid to drain into a container.
- Remove and discard the 2 sealing washers.

6. Loosen the power steering line support bracket.
- Unscrew the nut.
- Release the hose.

7. Disconnect the high pressure line from the power steering gear.
- Remove the bolt.
- Release the power steering line.
- Remove the sealing ring and discard it.

8. Remove the high pressure power steering line.

Installation
1. Install the high pressure steering line.
2. Connect the high pressure line to the power steering mechanism.
- Install the sealing ring.
- Secure the power steering high pressure line.
- Tighten the bolt to 25 Nm.
3. Install the power steering line support bracket.
- Tighten the nut (tightening torque 10 Nm).
- Secure the hose with a clamp.

CAUTION: To avoid contamination of the system, always plug all open connections.
Connect the high pressure line to the power steering pump.
- Install new sealing washers.
- Connect the high pressure line of the power steering pump.
5. Install the radiator panel. Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm.
6. Install the left front fender splash guard. For more information, refer to Fender Splash Guard (76.10.48)
7. Install the right front fender splash guard. Secure the clamps.
8. Fill the power steering system with working fluid and remove the air from the system. For more information, refer to Filling the power steering system and removing air from it.
