Removal


NOTE: The air conditioning system filter-drier must be replaced in the following case: the presence of dirt in the air conditioning pipeline (for example, causing the compressor to seize up). The system is depressurized and refrigerant is leaking into the atmosphere. Due to repair work, the air conditioner piping was depressurized for more than 24 hours.


1.
CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with special stands.


Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the air conditioner condenser. For more information, refer to Condenser Core (refrigerator) (82.15.07)

3. Remove the receiver dryer support bracket clamp. Loosen the screw.

4.
ATTENTION: Immediately close the air conditioner pipes with plugs to prevent dust and moisture from getting into them.


Remove the receiver dryer.
  • Remove the bolt.
  • Remove the clamp.
  • Remove and discard the 2 O-rings.
Remove and discard the 2 O-rings.


Installation


1. Install the receiver dryer.
  • Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
  • Install new O-rings.
  • Install the clamp.
  • Tighten the bolt (tightening torque 10 Nm).

2. Install the receiver dryer support bracket clamp. Tighten the screw.
