Intermediate pulley drive belt 2.7L (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

2. Remove the accessory drive belt. For more information, refer to Accessory Drive Belt (86.10.03)

3. Remove the accessory drive belt pulley.

• Remove the bolt.
• Remove and discard the sealing ring.

4. Remove the accessory drive belt pulley.

• Remove the bolt cover.
• Remove the Torx type bolt.

Installation

1. Install the accessory drive belt pulley.

• Clean the parts.
• Tighten the head bolt Torg (tightening torque 25 Nm).
• Install the bolt cover.

2. Install the accessory drive belt pulley.

• Clean the parts.
• Install a new seal.
• Tighten the bolt (tightening torque 45 Nm).

3. Install the accessory drive belt. For more information, refer to Accessory Drive Belt (86.10.03)
