Removing
1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery. For more information refer to Specification.
2. Disconnect the EGR valve electrical connector.
3. Release the clamps and disconnect the hoses from the EGR valve cooler.
- Lay down an absorbent cloth to soak up spilled liquid
- Clamp the EGR coolant hoses to minimize coolant loss.
Installation
1. When installing, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
- Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
- Tighten the bolts (tightening torque 10 Nm).
3. Check the coolant level, top up if necessary.
