Threshold trim — removal and installation (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Raise the front of the vehicle.

CAUTION: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with safety stands.

2. Remove both jack point covers.

3. Unscrew the 7 screws securing the threshold trim to the body.

4. Loosen and remove the trim from the threshold.

Installation

1. Clean the mounting surfaces of the threshold trim.

2. Apply the trim to the threshold, find the jack installation points and secure the trim with self-tapping screws.

3. Install the jack point pads.

4. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
