Dismantling


1. 2003 model year vehicles: Remove the rear side trim panel.

INTERIOR TRIM PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Rear side decorative panel for a 3-door car.


2. Release the rear seat backrest and tilt the seat forward.

2. Release the rear seat backrest and tilt the seat forward.


3. Remove the luggage compartment light from the trim panel.

4. Disconnect the 2 Lucar type electrical connectors and remove the luggage compartment light.

5. Remove the 6 Torx screws securing the luggage compartment floor covering mounting strip.

6. Remove the floor covering mounting strip.

7. Unscrew the 4 screws securing the decorative panel.

8. Release and remove the decorative panel from the luggage compartment.

Installation


1. Install the decorative panel into the luggage compartment and secure it with screw clamps.

2. Install the luggage compartment floor covering mounting bar and secure it with Torx screws.

3. Attach the luggage compartment light to the decorative panel, connect the Lucar-type electrical connectors and secure the light to the decorative panel.

4. Return the seat to its original position.
