Upper decorative panel of the luggage compartment of a 5-door car (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the lower decorative trim from the rear of the side panel.

2. Unscrew the 3 screws securing the top panel to the body.

3. Remove the retainer from the luggage compartment door seal.

4. Release the decorative panel from the 8 fasteners.



5. Remove the upper trim panel and take it out of the luggage compartment.

6. Remove the 8 fasteners from the decorative panel.

Installation

1. Insert the clips into the decorative panel.

2. Install the decorative panel into the luggage compartment and secure it with the clips.

3. Install the retainer on the luggage compartment door seal.



4. Tighten the screws securing the lower part of the decorative panel.

5. Install the lower decorative trim of the rear side panel.
