Upper decorative panel of the luggage compartment of a 3-door car (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the lower decorative trim from the rear of the side panel.

2. Remove the rear side decorative panel.

3. Loosen the screw and remove the rear small glass latch.

4. Remove the seat belt mounting plug from the upper decorative panel.

5. Release the 4 fasteners securing the upper decorative panel to the body and remove the panel.



6. Remove the 4 clips from the trim panel.

Installation

1. Insert the clips into the decorative panel.

2. Apply the decorative panel, align the seat belt and secure the panel to the clips.



3. Install the seat belt anchor plug.

4. Press the rear small glass seal against the decorative panel.

5. Install the rear small glass latch and secure it with the screw.

6. Install the rear side trim panel.

7. Install the lower decorative trim of the rear side panel.
