Seat belt pretensioner activation
CAUTION: Do not perform any work on the SRS system until you have read the relevant sections of this Manual.
1. Follow all safety rules when working with the airbag system.
GENERAL INFORMATION, Forced deployment of the SRS component.
2. Check the condition of the LRT-86-003 device and the cables supplied with it.
3. To access the pretensioner electrical connector, move the seat all the way back.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the pretensioner.
CAUTION: Make sure the device is not connected to the battery.
5. Connect the electrical cable LRT-86-003-04 of the tool to the electrical connector of the seat belt pretensioner.
6. Connect the LRT-86-003-04 electrical cable to the LRT-86-003 fixture.
CAUTION: Make sure the pretensioner is securely fastened in place.
CAUTION: Make sure all people are at least 15 m away from the vehicle.
7. Connect the LRT-86-003 device to the battery.

8. To activate the seat belt pretensioner, press the power button on the device body.
WARNING: During operation, the airbag or pre-tensioner warms up to a high temperature. Once activated, DO NOT TOUCH the airbag module or the seat belt pre-tensioner for at least 30 minutes.
9. Disconnect the electrical cable LRT-86-003-04 from the pretensioner and remove the pretensioner from the seat.

10. Place the seat belt pretensioner in a plastic bag and seal it tightly.
11. Dispose of the used pretensioner in a place designated for waste incineration.
NOTE: Do not transport parts of deployed passive restraint systems in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
12. Discard all other used seat belt and SRS components. DO NOT reuse seat belts or SRS components removed from a vehicle.
