Deployment of the seat belt pretensioner
WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out any work on the SRS system before reading the relevant sections of the Manual.
1. Follow all safety rules when working with the airbag system.
GENERAL INFORMATION, Forced operation of the SRS component.
2. Check the condition of the LRT-86-003 fixture and cables supplied with it.
3. To gain access to the pretensioner electrical connector, slide the seat all the way back.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the pretensioner.
CAUTION: Make sure the tool is not connected to a battery.
5. Connect the tool's electrical cable LRT-86-003-04 to the seat belt pretensioner electrical connector.
6. Connect the electrical cable LRT-86-003-04 to the LRT-86-003 tool.
CAUTION: Make sure the pretensioner is securely in place.
WARNING: Make sure that all people are at least 15 m away from the vehicle.
7. Connect the LRT-86-003 tool to the battery.
8. To activate the seat belt pretensioner, press the power button on the tool body.
WARNING: The airbag or pretensioner will become hot during deployment. Once deployed, DO NOT touch the airbag module or pretensioner for at least 30 minutes.
9. Disconnect the LRT-86-003-04 electrical cable from the pretensioner and remove the pretensioner from the seat.

10. Put the seat belt pretensioner in a plastic bag and seal it tightly.
11. Dispose of the used pretensioner to a designated incineration area.
NOTE: Do not transport parts of deployed passive safety systems in the passenger compartment.
12. Discard all other used elements of the seat belt and SRS system. DO NOT reuse seat belts and SRS components that have been removed from the vehicle.
