Examination
1. Check the condition of the tires for damage, paying particular attention to the condition of the sidewalls of the tires.
2. Inspect the tire tread pattern to ensure there is no abnormal wear, which may require adjusting the wheel alignment angles (steering or suspension).
NOTE: Any steering or suspension adjustments made as a result of the inspection will incur additional labor and/or parts costs and should therefore not be performed without prior notice to the customer.
3. Measure the tread depth across the width of the tire and around its entire circumference. Comment on the results of the check based on the minimum values obtained when measuring the tread depth of each wheel.
NOTE: Before continuing with maintenance work, if necessary, the condition of the tyres must be explained to the customer and, if necessary, the customer must be advised to replace the tyres. This involves additional labour and/or consumables and should therefore not be carried out without prior notice to the customer.
CAUTION: When installing new tires, ensure that they are installed on the rear axle only or on both the front and rear axles simultaneously. DO NOT install new tires on the front axle only.
