Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the battery tray.

3. Drain the coolant from the engine.
COOLING SYSTEM: MODIFICATION K, volume 1.8, ADJUSTMENTS, Draining the coolant, flushing the system and filling.
4. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the upper hose from the radiator.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the relay housing and from the fan motors.
6. Remove the wiring harness from the fan housing.
7. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the fan casing to the radiator.

8. Unscrew the two screws securing the radiator to the radiator frame cross member.
9. With the help of a partner, carefully remove the fan housing with the engine.
10. Unscrew the 6 bolts securing the fan electric motors to the casing and remove the electric motors.
Installation
1. Install the motors on the casing, screw in the bolts and tighten them to 5 Nm.
2. Install the fan assembly with the electric motor on the radiator, screw in the screws and tighten them to a torque of 5 Nm.
3. Screw in the screws.
4. Connect the connectors.
5. Secure the relay and wiring harness to the fan shroud.
6. Connect the upper hose to the radiator and secure with a clamp.
7. Connect the lower hose to the radiator and secure it with a clamp.
8. Fill the engine with coolant.

9. Install the battery tray.
