Upper side airbag module (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure descriptions in this manual may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging System - General Information, Specifications).

2. Secure the SRS system. Refer to the procedure: Standard Workshop Procedure (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).

3. Remove the headliner. Refer to the procedure: Upper Trim - Vehicles Not Equipped With: Tilt Roof Sunroof (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

4. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
