Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.
2. Remove the wheel. Refer to the procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

Installation
1. Install the trailing arm.
2. Install the trailing arm to body and hub mounting nuts, bolts and washers, but do not tighten at this stage.
3. Support the vehicle by placing a jack under the rear hub.
CAUTION: Nuts and bolts should be tightened when the weight of the vehicle is supported by the suspension.
4. Tighten the nuts and bolts. Tightening torque: 270 Nm
5. Install the wheel. Refer to the procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
6. Check the rear wheel alignment angles and adjust them if necessary.
