Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly. Refer to procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
3. Discard the bolt.

- Loosen the bolt partially to gain access. Cut off the bolt head and remove the bolt by pulling it in the opposite direction.
- During installation, rotate the new bolt in the opposite direction.
- Be sure to install the retaining nut and protective shield from the service kit.

Installation
1. Install the front lower control arm.
2. Install the nuts, bolts and washers, but do not tighten them at this stage.
CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened while the vehicle is supported by the suspension.
3. Jack up the car, placing it under the rear hub.
CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened while the vehicle is supported by the suspension.
4. Tighten the nuts and bolts. Tightening torque: 175 Nm
5. Install the parking brake cable mounting bolt. Tightening torque: 10 Nm
WARNING: Be sure to use a new bolt.
6. Install the rear wheel. Refer to the procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
7. Check the rear wheel alignment angles and adjust them if necessary.
