Removal
1. Remove the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to procedure: Rear Quarter Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.
3. Remove the wheel. Refer to the procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

CAUTION: Do not place any stress on the brake hose.

CAUTION: Discard nut.

6. Remove the bolt from the hub support and discard it.

CAUTION: Ensure that no components are pinched/caught.

Installation
1. Install the shock absorber onto the hub assembly. Tightening torque: 110 Nm
CAUTION: Use new bolts.
2. Install the shock absorber assembly with the spring. Tightening torque: 32 Nm
3. Install the lower suspension arms.
CAUTION: Nuts and bolts should be tightened when the weight of the vehicle is supported by the suspension.
4. Install the brake line and wheel speed sensor brackets. Tightening torque: 10 Nm
5. Secure the stabilizer bar. Tightening torque: 60 Nm
WARNING: Use a new nut.
6. Fasten the brake caliper and backing plate to the hub support. Tightening torque: 110 Nm
Clean the mating surfaces from foreign material. Make sure that the brake hose is not twisted and is installed correctly.
7. Support the vehicle by placing a jack under the rear hub.
CAUTION: Nuts and bolts should be tightened when the weight of the vehicle is supported by the suspension.
8. Tighten the trailing arm nut and bolt. Tightening torque: 270 Nm
9. Tighten the front and rear lower arm nuts and bolts. Tightening torque: 175 Nm
10. Install the wheel. Refer to the procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
11. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to procedure: Rear Quarter Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).
