Rear stabilizer bushing (Freelander 2)

Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.

CAUTION: Discard bolts.

NOTE: Muffler shown removed for clarity.

Installation

1. Install the stabilizer bushings.

CAUTION: Clean the element from dirt and grease.

2. Install the stabilizer clamps.

CAUTION: Clean the element from dirt and grease.

3. Screw in the bolts, but do not tighten them completely yet.

CAUTION: Use new bolts.

4. Tighten the stabilizer clamp bolts. Tightening torque: 60 Nm

CAUTION: Nuts and bolts must be tightened while the vehicle is supported by the suspension.
