The parking assistance switch is located in the instrument cluster switch cluster, above the touchscreen. It is the left switch with an integrated LED.
The Parking Aid Switch is a momentary push-button switch that allows the driver to turn the Parking Aid system on or off. When pressed, the switch momentarily grounds the Parking Aid module. An LED indicates when the Parking Aid system is active. The LED is controlled by the Parking Aid module.
The switch allows the driver to disable the parking assist system when reverse gear is selected, or activate the parking assist sensors when another gear is engaged.
If there is a fault in the parking assistance system, the LED flashes continuously when reverse gear is selected or the driver selects to activate the parking assistance sensors using the corresponding switch.
