The stamped steel oil pan is sealed with liquid sealant and secured with 21 anchor bolts to the oil pan housing. The engine oil drain plug is located on the rear right side of the oil pan.
NOTE: To access the oil pan drain plug, the vehicle's underbody protection must be removed.
The dipstick is located on the left side of the engine. Two marks on the end of the dipstick indicate the minimum and maximum oil levels. For more information, see the section on the lubrication system.
