Fuel tank filler neck (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure descriptions in this manual may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Never work on a vehicle supported solely by a jack. Always support the vehicle securely.

2. Remove the rear wheel. Refer to the procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).







6. Loosen the nut and remove the bolt securing the fuel tank filler pipe to the body. Tightening torque: 10 Nm





7. Release the lower fuel filler neck mounting bracket. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

8. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the filler pipe hose from the fuel tank.

9. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the filler neck ventilation hose.

10. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
