The fuel tank is filled through an aluminum filler neck, which is connected via a rubber hose to the rear right side of the tank. The filler neck is closed by a threaded cap.
The linear check valve is installed in the filler neck hose of the tank and is kept permanently closed by a spring. The check valve opens only when the vehicle is refueled. The check valve minimizes fuel spillage in the event of damage to the filler neck in an accident.
A vent hose runs from the fuel filler neck to the fuel delivery module flange. The vent hose connects to the vent line on the fuel delivery module flange.
