Ignition system resistor (Discovery 1)

Technical conditions

Contacts	Position	Voltage
39 and weight	Ignition ON	8.5-10.5 V

Make sure the ignition is off.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the electronic control unit.

Turn on the ignition.

Measure the voltage between the wiring connector terminal and ground.

If the voltage is not within specifications, check the wiring and the ignition system resistor.
