Note: The crankshaft position sensor is built into the high voltage distributor.


Resistance Check - Figure 22



Technical conditions



Resistance2000-5000 Ohm

Make sure the ignition is off.

Remove the amplifier.

Measure the resistance between the terminals of the crankshaft position sensor connector.

Measure the resistance between the terminals of the crankshaft position sensor connector.

Technical conditions



Air gap0.2-0.35 mm

While rotating the crankshaft, position the rotor protrusion opposite the crankshaft position sensor. Use a non-magnetic feeler gauge to measure the air gap.
