Technical conditions

Make sure the ignition is off.
Disconnect the valve electrical connector.
Start the engine at idle speed.
Measure the voltage between the wiring connector terminal and ground.

Make sure the ignition is off.
Disconnect the valve electrical connector.
Apply power from the battery to the specified valve contacts.
The sound of the valve operating should be heard.
