Make sure the ignition is off.
Without disconnecting the electrical connector of the electronic control unit, remove the protective cover.
Turn on the ignition.
Release the handbrake. Move the car forward.
Turn on the ignition.
Measure the voltage between the terminals of the electronic control unit and ground.
