Aligning the counter part of the rear trunk door lock (Discovery 3)

1. Make sure that adjacent panels are aligned and have the same gap. If this condition is not met, follow the adjustment procedure below.



2. Remove the tailgate latch trim panel.

3. Loosen the 2 tailgate retainer bolts.



4. Close the tailboard and ensure that adjacent panels are aligned and have the same gap.

5. Open the tailboard and tighten the tailboard lock bolts. (tightening torque 25 Nm).

6. Install the tailgate latch trim panel.
