Rear seat belt lock with seat 40/20/40 (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Remove the inner seat back hinge cover.

• Release the side clip of the seat back trim.
• Remove the screw.
• Release the 2 clamps.

2. Remove the side trim of the rear seat cushion.

• Remove 2 screws.
• Remove the tension band.

3. Remove the belt buckle safely.

• Fold the rear seat forward.
• Remove the Torx head bolt.
• Release the tension spring.

Installation

1. Install the safety belt buckle.

• Attach the tension spring.
• Tighten the Torx head bolt (tightening torque 25 Nm).
• Fold the rear seat back.

2. Install the rear seat cushion side trim.

• Attach the tension strap.
• Tighten the screws.

3. Install the seat back hinge inner cover.

• Secure the clamps.
• Tighten the screw.
• Engage the side clip of the seat back trim.
