Right rear seat belt buckle with seat 40/60 (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Release the right rear seat fastener.

• Fold the seat cushion forward.
• Remove and discard the 4 Torx head bolts.
• Fold the rear seat back down.

2. Remove the right rear seat.

3. Remove the side trim of the rear seat cushion. Remove the screw.



4. Remove the seat belt buckle.

• Raise the seat cushion.
• Release the fastening tape.
• Remove the bolt and discard it.

Installation

1. Install the seat belt buckle.

• Tighten the Torx head bolt (tightening torque 40 Nm).
• Attach the mounting tape.
• Lower the seat cushion.

2. Install the rear seat cushion side trim. Tighten the screw.

3. Install the right rear seat. Place the seat on the pins.

4. Secure the right rear seat.

• Return the seatback to the upright position.
• Tighten the new bolts. (tightening torque 40 Nm).
• Fold the seat cushion forward.
