Removal
1.
CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with special stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2.
CAUTION: Before removing the solenoid, connect T4.
NOTE: Some liquid will inevitably spill during this operation.
Remove the transfer case clutch control solenoid.
- Place a container to collect any spilled liquid.
- Remove 3 Torx head screws.
- Using T4, apply voltage to the solenoid.
- Disconnect from the selector lever.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation
1.
CAUTION: Make sure the seal is installed correctly.
Install the transfer case clutch control solenoid.
- Clean the parts.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Using T4, apply voltage to the solenoid.
- Install on the selector lever.
- Tighten the Torx head screws (tightening torque 10 Nm).
3. Using T4, calibrate the new transfer case clutch control solenoid.
