Removing
1.
WARNING: It is forbidden to carry out work on a vehicle standing on only one jack. Always support the vehicle with jack stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.

CAUTION: Connect T4 before removing the solenoid.
NOTE: Some fluid will inevitably spill during this operation.
Remove the transfer case clutch control solenoid.
- Place a container to catch spilled liquid.
- Remove 3 Torx head screws.
- Apply voltage to the solenoid using T4.
- Disconnect from the selector lever.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Installation
1.
CAUTION: Make sure the seal is installed correctly.
Install the transfer case clutch control solenoid.
- Clear the details.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Apply voltage to the solenoid using T4.
- Install on the selector lever.
- Tighten Torx Head Screws (tightening torque 10 Nm).
3. Use T4 to calibrate the new transfer case clutch control solenoid.
