Dismantling


1. Remove the upper trim panels from both front 'A' pillars.

2. Remove both upper luggage compartment trim panels.

3. Remove both sun visors.

4. Remove the caps, unscrew the handrail mounting screws and remove the handrails.

6. Remove the diffuser from the front interior light.

7. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the front interior light to the body.

8. Remove the interior light from the ceiling panel, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the light.



9. Remove the rear interior light from the ceiling panel, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the light.

10. Release both upper decorative panels of the 'B/C' pillars from their fastenings and move them to the side.

11. Disconnect the ceiling panel from the front and rear door seals.

12. Models equipped with a sunroof: Unclip and remove the sunroof opening trim.

13. Remove the 5 fasteners from the ceiling panel.



14. With the help of a partner, remove the ceiling panel from the vehicle through the trunk door opening.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.

15. Release the 8 fasteners that secure the front interior light mounting plate and remove the plate.

16. Unscrew the 14 pocket mounting nuts, remove the support frames, and then the pockets.

Installation


1. Install the pockets and support frames onto the ceiling panel and secure them with nuts.

2. Install the ceiling light support plate and secure it with the fasteners.

3. With the help of a partner, install the ceiling panel and secure it with the clamps.

4. Models equipped with a sunroof: Replace the sunroof opening trim and secure it.

5. Align the ceiling panel with the front and rear door seals.

6. Install and secure the upper decorative panels of the 'B/C' pillars.

7. Place the rear interior light on the ceiling panel and connect the electrical connector to it.

8. Install the rear interior light onto the ceiling panel.

9. Place the front interior light on the ceiling panel and connect the electrical connector to it.



10. Install the front interior light onto the ceiling panel and secure it with bolts.

11. Install the handrail caps.

12. Install the handrails, tighten the screws that secure them and cover the screws with caps.

13. Install both sun visors.

14. Install the front 'A' pillar upper trim panels.
