Rear Door Trim Panel (Discovery 3)

Removal

1.

CAUTION: First release the 2 lower clamps using the access holes.

Install the handrail cover. Release the 4 clips.

2. Loosen the door lock remote control cable mounting screw. Remove the screw cover.



3. Release the rear door trim panel.

• Remove 6 screws.
• Release 13 clamps.

4. Disconnect the remote door lock opening system cable.



5. Remove the rear door trim panel. Disconnect the 4 electrical connectors.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the part is removed only for access.

Remove the rear door remote release handle. Starting from the bottom edge, carefully release the remote release handle.



7. Remove the threshold lighting lamp. Carefully remove the bulb.



8. Remove the window control switch. Carefully release the clips.



9. Remove the tweeter.

10. Release the 9 clamps.

Installation

1. Install the window control switch. Engage the clips.

2. Install the tweeter. Engage the clamps.

3. Install the threshold lighting lamp.

4. Install the rear door remote release handle.

5. Install the clamps.

6. Install the rear door trim panel.

• Connect the electrical connectors.
• Connect the remote door lock opening system cable.
• Engage the clamps.
• Tighten the screws.

7. Screw in the screw for fixing the remote door lock opening system. Secure the screw cover.

8. Install the handle cover.
