A-pillar trim panel (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Release the door seal to gain access to the upper A-pillar trim panel and instrument panel end panel.



2. Remove the control panel end panel. Release the clamp.



3. Remove the upper A-pillar trim panel.

• Release the screw cover.
• Remove and discard the Torx head screw.
• Release the clamp.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the part is removed only for access.

Remove the screw holder and clip from the upper A-pillar trim panel.

Installation

1. Install the screw holder and clamp onto the A-pillar top trim panel.

2. Install the upper A-pillar trim panel.

• Secure with a clamp.
• Insert and tighten the new Torx head screw. (tightening torque 3 Nm).
• Install the screw cover.

3. Install the control panel end panel. Secure with a clamp.

4. Install the door seal.
