Removal
1. Remove the rear door upper trim panel.
- Remove 4 screw covers.
- Remove 4 screws.
- Release the 2 clamps.

CAUTION: To avoid damaging the paintwork, support the tailgate at all times.
Disconnect the 2 support cables from the rear door. Release the 2 clamps.

3. Remove the 2 support cable bushings from the rear door.
4. Lift the rear door hinge cover to provide access.
5. Remove the rear door trim panel. Release the 12 clips.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the part is removed only for access.
Remove the 12 clips from the rear door trim panel.

Installation
1. Install the rear door trim panel. Install the clips.
2. Lower the rear door hinge cover.
3. Tighten the bushing connection of the support strut S1 (tightening torque 25 Nm).
4. Pull the support cables to the rear door and secure them with clamps.
5. Install the rear door upper trim panel.
- Engage the clamps.
- Screw in the screws.
- Install the screw covers.
