2. Bend the stopper of the propshaft-to-viscous coupling bolt.
3. Loosen the propshaft to viscous coupling bolt and remove the forked washer.
4. To remove from splines, insert wedge LRT-51-017 between bolt head and universal joint yoke. Tighten the bolt in both directions to properly position the wedge between the yoke and the bolt head. Drive the wedge at a right angle to separate the components.
5. Adjust the position of the bolt as necessary to ensure the desired relative position of the bolt head and the wedge.
6. Remove the bolt with the lock washer, slide the cardan shaft from the viscous coupling. Discard the lock washer and bolt if damaged.
Installation
1. Wipe mating surfaces and splines of propeller shaft and viscous coupling.
2. Insert the cardan shaft into the splines of the viscous coupling and push it as far as possible.
3. Partially screw in the bolt with a new lock washer, insert the forked washer between the lock washer and the universal joint yoke.
4. Tighten the bolt to a torque of 65 Nm until the splines are fully seated and secure its head with a lock washer.
5. Install the cardan shaft.
