Soundproof engine casing (before May 2002) (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Unscrew the two nuts and bolt securing the casing to the engine.

2. Remove the soundproofing casing.

3. Remove the three sealing bushings from the casing.

Installation

1. Insert three sealing bushings into the casing.

2. Install the noise-insulating casing and tighten the bolt to 8 Nm and the nuts to 4 Nm.
