Upper right engine mount cross member (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the engine soundproofing cover.

ENGINE - Td4, Inlet and outlet camshafts, Engine soundproofing casing, models produced before May 2002.

3. Unscrew the bolt securing the upper cross member to the right engine bracket.

4. Remove the crossbar with the bolt. Remove the bolt from the crossbar.

Installation

1. Install the cross member in place and tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 100 Nm.

2. Install the engine soundproofing cover in place.

3. Connect the negative battery terminal.
