Dismantling


1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the engine soundproofing cover.

3. Using a 3/8" ratchet, loosen the tensioner and remove the belt from the alternator pulley.

4. Remove the lower engine guard.

5. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the air conditioning compressor to the bracket, move the compressor to the side and secure it.

6. Remove the compressor heat shield.

Installation


1. Clean the mating surfaces of the compressor and bracket.



2. Install the compressor heat shield.

3. Mount the compressor on the bracket and install the heat shield on it. Screw in the bolts and tighten them to 25 Nm.

4. Using a 3/8" ratchet, loosen the tensioner and place the belt on the accessory pulleys.

5. Reinstall the lower engine guard.

6. Reinstall the engine soundproofing cover.

7. Connect the negative battery terminal.
