Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the middle section of the exhaust system with the muffler.

3. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the heat shield and remove the shield from the inlet pipe.

4. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the pipe clamp and remove the lower half of the clamp.

5. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the inlet pipe to the manifold.

6. Loosen the bolt securing the intake pipe to the bracket and remove the intake pipe. Discard the gasket.
Installation
1. Wipe the intake pipe flange and the mating surfaces of the exhaust manifold.
2. Install the intake pipe with a new gasket, tighten the nuts, but do not tighten them.
3. Screw in the bolt securing the exhaust pipe to the bracket, but do not tighten it.
4. Install the lower half of the clamp, screw in the bolts, but do not tighten them.
5. Install the middle section of the exhaust system with the muffler.

6. Tighten the nuts securing the intake pipe to the manifold. Tightening torque 50 Nm.
7. Tighten the clamp bolts. Tightening torque 10 Nm.
8. Tighten the nuts securing the intake pipe to the bracket. Tightening torque 25 Nm.
9. Connect the negative battery terminal.
