Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Drain the coolant from the engine.
COOLING SYSTEM: MOD. K, KV6 engine, ADJUSTMENTS, Draining coolant, flushing and filling the system.
3. Remove the fuel rail.

4. Press the shoulders and remove the ventilation hose from the left intake manifold.
5. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the coolant hose from the intake manifold.
6. Sequentially loosen and unscrew the 7 bolts securing the left intake manifold to the cylinder head.

7. Remove the intake manifold and discard its gaskets.
Installation
1. Clean the intake manifold and mating surfaces on the cylinder head.
2. Install a new gasket on the cylinder head, install the intake manifold, screw in the bolts and tighten them to a torque of 25 Nm.
3. Connect the ventilation hose to the left intake manifold.
4. Connect the cooling system hose to the manifold and secure it with a clamp.
5. Install the fuel rail.

6. Fill the cooling system with coolant.

7. Connect the negative battery terminal.
