Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the engine soundproofing cover.

3. Release the oxygen sensor connector from the bracket on the left valve cover, disconnect the connector.
4. Raise the car on a lift.
5. Remove the lower engine guard.

6. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the inlet pipe to the exhaust manifold flange.
7. Lower the car lift.

8. Release the oxygen sensor harness from the clamp on the cylinder block. Unscrew the 4 nuts securing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head, remove the manifold and dispose of the gasket.
Installation
1. Wipe the exhaust manifold and the mating surface on the cylinder head.
2. Install a new exhaust manifold gasket onto the cylinder head.
3. Install the exhaust manifold onto the cylinder head, tighten the nuts and tighten them to 45 Nm.
4. Raise the car on a lift.
5. Align the flanges of the left exhaust manifold and the inlet pipe, tighten the nuts and tighten them to a torque of 50 Nm.
6. Secure the oxygen sensor harness to the clamp on the cylinder block.
7. Reinstall the lower engine guard.

8. Lower the car lift.
9. Connect the oxygen sensor connector and secure it to the bracket.
10. Reinstall the engine soundproofing cover.

11. Connect the negative battery terminal.
