Side airbag module (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure descriptions in this manual may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Set the SRS system to the safe mode. Refer to the procedure: Standard Workshop Procedure (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).

2. Remove the front seatback trim. Refer to the procedure: Front Seatback Trim (501-10 Seat, Removal and Installation).

3. Remove the front seat back upholstery.

4. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

WARNING: Do not touch the tester probes to the supplemental restraint system (SRS) electrical connectors.

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
