NOTE: The sunroof panel motor can be accessed by partially releasing the headliner. The motor is located above the rear interior lamp.
Removal
1. Remove the interior rearview mirror. Refer to procedure: Interior Rearview Mirror (501-09 Rearview Mirrors, Removal and Installation).
2. Remove both A-pillar trim panels. Refer to procedure: A-pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).
3. Remove both upper B-pillar trim panels. Refer to procedure: Upper B-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).
4. Carefully detach the upper trim panels from both C-pillars.

5. Remove the passenger handrails.

6. Remove both sun visors.

7. With assistance, starting at the front edge, carefully release the headliner to gain access. Support the headliner to avoid damaging it.

8. Remove the sunroof motor.

Installation
1. Install the sunroof motor. Tightening torque: 2,5 Nm
2. Fasten the sunroof panel motor harness. Tightening torque: 4 Nm
3. Connect the sunroof panel motor electrical connector.
4. With assistance, carefully install the headliner.
5. Install sun visors.
6. Install handrails for passengers.
7. Install the upper trim panels of both C-pillars.
8. Install both upper B-pillar trim panels. Refer to procedure: Upper B-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

9. Install both upper A-pillar trim panels. Refer to procedure: A-pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).
10. Install the interior rearview mirror. Refer to procedure: Interior Rearview Mirror (501-09 Rearview Mirrors, Removal and Installation).
11. Manually initialize the sunroof panel motor.
12. Turn on the ignition.
13. Press the front half of the sunroof panel switch and move the sunroof panel to the fully tilted position.
14. Release the switch.
15. Press and hold the front half of the switch.
16. After 20 seconds, the sunroof panel will perform the following actions: sticking in a slightly open position, causing noise, cycling fully open and closed.
17. Do not release the switch until the hatch cover panel has completed the above operations.
18. Release the switch.
19. The sunroof panel will now operate in one-touch open mode (tilt and fully open) and one-touch close mode (from fully open).
20. One-touch closing is not possible from an inclined position.
