Airbag indicator (SRS) (Discovery 1)

1. Remove the instrument cluster bezel.

2. Remove the protective glass of the instrument cluster.



3. Unscrew the 3 screws securing the engine control unit to the instrument cluster.

4. Remove the small control unit cover.

5. Disconnect the control unit connector.

6. Remove the engine control unit.



7. Unscrew the 4 tachometer mounting screws.

8. Remove the tachometer.



9. Carefully remove the two screws securing the tachometer dial.



10. Disconnect the SRS indicator lamp base from the tachometer board.

11. Carefully remove the lamp base, being careful not to damage the tachometer needle and shaft.

12. Remove the two SRS indicator lamps.



13. Installation is carried out in reverse order, the tachometer needle should be at the zero stop.
