Rear air conditioner thermostat (Discovery 1)

1. Remove the rear evaporator wiring.

2. Remove the upper ceiling light and evaporator air duct flange seal.



3. Unscrew the 2 screws securing the relay bracket and secure the relay to the side.

4. Disconnect the thermostat wires.

5. Loosen the thermostat mounting screws.

6. Remove the thermostat from the bracket.

7. Disconnect the 2 clips securing the evaporator housing halves.

8. Unscrew the bolt securing the evaporator housing halves.

9. Separate the housing halves so that the thermostat sensing element can be removed.

10. Remove the thermostat.

11. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Install new seals.
