General instructions (Discovery 1)

Attention:

• 1. Wear protective clothing when working with the air conditioning system. Do not smoke or carry out welding work.
• 2. Refrigerant R134a is colorless and odorless. Do not charge or discharge the system in poorly ventilated areas. Do not allow refrigerant to come into contact with open flame or hot metal: R134a is not flammable, but forms a toxic gas at high temperatures.
• 3. Inhalation of large amounts of refrigerant vapor leads to loss of orientation and coordination of movements, partial anesthesia, etc.
• 4. Do not add other brands of refrigerants or oils to the system - spontaneous combustion of components is possible.
• 5. When disposing of refrigerant, strictly follow the instructions of the air conditioning refilling station.
• 6. Do not allow refrigerant cylinders to heat up to above 50°C.
• 7. If refrigerant comes into contact with eyes or skin, rinse the affected area with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention immediately.
