Caution: Remove the plugs from the new dehumidifier immediately before connecting the air conditioning system hoses. The maximum time that the receiver fittings remain open is 15 minutes.
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Discharge the air conditioning system.
3. Unscrew the three screws securing the hood latch and remove the radiator grille.
Models with automatic transmission
4. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the automatic transmission oil cooler.
5. Disconnect the 2 oil cooler hose mounting nuts.
6. Remove the oil cooler and plug the fittings.
7. Loosen the receiver-dryer clamp bolt.
8. Move the receiver until you have access to the flange mounting bolts for the tubes.
9. Unscrew the bolts securing the pipe flanges.
10. Disconnect the tubes and remove the receiver-dryer.
11. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Replace the rubber sealing rings.
12. Charge the system, check its tightness.
